IN THE END WAS THE WORD: Eschatology, Mimesis, and the Beloved Disciple

This course will continue a philosophical reading of St. John's inspired texts with special emphasis given to the enthymemes within, the modern age, and the eschaton. Our work will fulfill the rhetoric tutorial requirement in the AMI Fellowship Core Curriculum and can also be applied as a Theology elective.

About Instructor

John Johnson

John Johnson is the Executive Director of the Albertus Magnus Institute and the host of the Magnus Podcast. He holds a philosophy degree from St. Mary's College of California and a Master's degree in Theology from the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology where his studies focused on the beatific epistemology of St. Thomas Aquinas. He is often invited to speak on the Biblical literature and charism of the Beloved Disciple.
