John Johnson is the Executive Director of the Albertus Magnus Institute and the host of the Magnus Podcast. He holds a philosophy degree from St. Mary’s College of California and a Master’s degree in Theology from the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology where his studies focused on the beatific epistemology of St. Thomas Aquinas. He is often invited to speak on the Biblical texts and charism of the Beloved Disciple.
John’s past work has included the propaedeutic formation of priests and religious in service to multiple dioceses as well as the theological education of laity. Prior to that, he served for over a decade as a parish director of youth and young adult ministry where he cultivated a lasting affinity for the education of young people. As a business owner and consultant, he has orchestrated the development of several thriving non-profits.
John lives in California with his wife, four kids, and one on the way.
