Joseph Zepeda

Joseph Zepeda is a Tutor at Thomas Aquinas College, Santa Paula, California. A graduate of the same College, he completed his doctorate in History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Notre Dame. For the next twelve years he taught at Saint Mary’s College of California, as a Tutor in the Integral Program of Liberal Arts, a four-year Great Books curriculum. His published work focuses on the relations between scientific and philosophical thought in the Scientific Revolution, and more broadly on the history of philosophy. His early publications focused on Descartes and his natural philosophy; more recently he has written on Galileo’s treatment of science and Scriptural interpretation. Dr. Zepeda lives in Southern California with his wife Julie and their eight children.
